FAQ

Do you travel?

Absolutely! That’s one of the perks of the job. 😉
There are no additional travel or accommodation costs for weddings in the UK if you opt for full day coverage.

How many photos can we expect?

It varies from one wedding to another, depending on the number of locations, how many guests are attending, and whether you’ve requested for a second shooter. As a rough guide, you can expect at least 450 photos for a full day coverage.

How will we receive our images?

Your photographs will be delivered through an online gallery for you to share with your family and friends. I will also send out a USB of all of your edited photographs, both in hi-res and web friendly sizes so that you can share them on social media as well as print them as big as you want! I can assist with printing or designing an album if that’s something you would be interested in.

How long will we have to wait for our photos?

On average, 6-8 weeks, but you’ll usually get a sneak peek before that.

I'm camera shy/I hate having my photo taken/I don't like the way I look…

I’m here to document the day as it unfolds and my goal is for you to feel as relaxed as possible on your wedding day. That’s why I always recommend that we meet or at least chat over phone/Skype so that we can get to know each other before the big day. When it comes to the couple session, you won’t be expected to do anything you are not comfortable with and I can direct you as little or as much as you need, for as long or as little time as you want.

How do we book?

The best way to get started is to get in touch via my contact form and I’ll get back to you with prices and availability. To go ahead and secure your date, I’ll ask for a £175 non refundable deposit. I will also send out a contract for you to sign – this is all done electronically, no need to print or post anything! The remaining balance for your wedding package is due one month before your wedding date.

Do we have to feed you?

That’s entirely up to you and I never expect it. All I ask is that you let me know what your plans are. I obviously need a break at some point if I’m covering the whole day — 12 hours is a long time! I usually eat at the same time as you to make sure I don’t miss any key moments. Besides, nobody likes to have their photo taken while they’re eating!

Will you come and see our venue before the wedding/come to the rehearsal?

I don’t tend to visit venues ahead of the day because there are so many variables involved: the season, the weather, the lighting… All these may be completely different on the day. The best time for me to see your venue is on the day of your wedding, usually in the morning before I start shooting, because it is then a lot easier to predict how all these factors will influence the day. However I always do my research and never miss an opportunity to look up venues on their websites or on social media.

Do you provide videography?

No, but I know some very talented people out there and I’m always happy to give recommendations if needed.

What are you?

I’m French! Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king. 😉
